Ibrahim Farinloye, southwest coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told AFP that a 45 year old woman walked out of the rubbles on her own around 2 a.m today, while 10 more bodies were recovered, leaving 59 dead and 131 rescued alive. She was able to walk away from the collapse with just a broken wrist. It's going to be slower because we believe we can recover more people alive by the grace of God.
A total of 131 people were injured in the collapse of the hostel, which housed Nigerian and Foreign followers of TB Joshua.
As the death toll now hits 59, with eight more bodies pulled out overnight from the rubble of a collapsed guesthouse at the Synagogue Church Of All Nations in Lagos.
