A 36 year old man whose name is Gary Wells has died after taking a bold step by walking in front of a moving train driven by his ex-girlfriend, MacDonald, 29 to show he couldn't live without her.
The couple dated for 8years before MacDonald walked out of the relationship 3 weeks ago.
Miss MacDonald was powerless to prevent a collision after he stepped on to the track in front of her on one of Britain's most scenic rail routes. Mr Wells died instantly as he was hit by the train.
